Coaches & Employees Course

This course equips anyone working in football with the knowledge and tools to support neurodivergent players and address mental health challenges within their teams.

​

Coaches, scouts, physio’s, office staff and anyone else working or volunteering in the beautiful game will learn about different neurotypes like autism, ADHD, and dyslexia, and how to create inclusive environments that enhance performance and well-being. You will learn how to support neurodivergent people of all ages in the various roles they occupy within a football club or whatever capacity they occupy within the sport.

This course is designed for football coaches at all levels who want to better support neurodiverse players and promote mental health within their teams. It’s ideal for head coaches, assistant coaches, and youth coaches seeking to create inclusive training environments.

Modules

You will explore all forms of neurodiversity and many of the mental health conditions within each module. After the introduction you will learn about communication, struggles, and strengths related to these brain differences before finding out what you can do to help yourself and others (coping strategies).

You will watch videos for each subcategory within each module to enhance your learning experience.
