Players Course

This course is designed to help football players understand neurodiversity and its impact on mental health within the sport. This includes players who are neurodivergent and players who want to learn and understand neurodiversity better to make them able to support their colleagues more.

Players will learn about neurodiverse conditions such as ADHD, Autism, and Dyslexia, and how these can influence performance, communication, and teamwork. The course also emphasises the importance of mental health, providing players with tools to manage stress, build resilience, and support their peers.

By building an inclusive mindset, players will be equipped to create a supportive team environment that values the strengths and unique perspectives of all teammates, ensuring that everyone can thrive on and off the pitch

This course is designed for football players at all levels who want to understand the impact of neurodiversity and mental health on the game.

It’s ideal for team leaders (managers, coaches and captains), players with neurodivergent conditions, and those looking to help create an inclusive and supportive team environment.

Whether you’re a seasoned pro or just starting, this course will help you and your teammates thrive on and off the pitch.

Modules
You will explore all forms of neurodiversity and many of the mental health conditions within each module. After the introduction you will learn about communication, struggles, and strengths related to these brain differences before finding out what you can do to help yourself and others (coping strategies).
